Geez, I hated this show the first time around. Hope it's better now. Am I mistaken or is that the same blonde guy Gladiator as the old one?

I've got to watch it.

I watched the first incarnation back in the late 80's when it was run.
And still watch the reruns on ESPN Classic.

I watched it when I was a kid, so yes I'll probably see if it is any good this time around. :D World's Strongest Man replaced it once we got cable & American Gladiators soon faded. Hope it lasts longer this time.

I never saw the kids' version. :ummm:

I think it was more trivia than actual sport.

just watched the first episode tonight... VERY cool and Siren looks even hotter than her promo pics show her as :drool:

I loved Lace on the original :lips:

the canned probably scripted, taunts and trash talking was annoying, atleast on the original the most you ever got was a Gladiator saying "you're going down" and that was about it.. no lame howls, or tribal jibberish, or any of that stuff :thumbsdown:

I DO like this new eliminator though, it's the first time I've ever seen people hardly able to cross the finish line B)
I have a bad feeling they'll probably shorten it, or take away something so it's not quite so hard down the road, but I hope they don't because it's nice to have the the whole thing really decided by the eliminator

that's true, this time around it is truely not over until after the eliminator, it's still anyones game B)
