Title: Super Bowl Predictions
The Unforgettable - November 27, 2007 12:07 AM (GMT)
Super Bowl
Dallas Cowboys vs. New England Patriots
Patriots defeat Cowboys by at least 20 points.
Brady or Moss becomes MVP.
Also who here wants to try to say that the Bengals won't make it to the Playoffs?

The Pats will go undefeated this season.
Which sucks big-time.
The Unforgettable - November 27, 2007 01:47 AM (GMT)
Only way that could change is if someone manages to take Brady out.
But damn I hope they do. I want to see one time in my life an NFL team go undefeated. I mean the odds of it happening again any time soon is very very slim.

Patriots take it.
MVP goes to Bilachek's camera guy.

Ohhhhh dammmmmmmmnnnnn!
AdmiralGummy - November 27, 2007 08:51 PM (GMT)
I've already seen one undefeated team in my lifetime.
I don't need to see another.

Of course we had a guy taping the opponents sidelines. And when we got caught, 26 other NFL teams immediately called their Special Assistants of Football Operations into the office, threw their video cameras into the shredder and handed them clip boards and whistles.
If I owned a team, and the coach told me they weren’t doing it, I’d damned well want to know why not. How do you think Eric Mangini knew about it? Through brilliant deductive reasoning? Now he’s what? 2-9? I guess he has his answer.
Fine paid, first round pick lost, NFL commishiner even says it's over.
Let it go.
:kungfu: :wtf: :frust:

Sooo, here's a blonde question that just now, after 38 years of watching football, has occurred to me.
Since New England encompasses Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, do they all hold claim to the Pats or just Massachusetts? :headscratch:
The Unforgettable - November 29, 2007 06:11 AM (GMT)
Hmm...never even though of that myself Raj...its kinda odd. This however is whats really stupid.
The Giants...and I think the Jets too both have their field(s) in New Jersey....yet they are called the New YORK Giants/Jets......wtfs up with that?
And yes Ive never paid enough attention to the Giants/Jets to know whether they have the same home field or not. I just know someone I know said they do.
Mojochi - November 29, 2007 05:00 PM (GMT)
Yes Giants & Jets are housed in the Meadowlands, in New Jersey, otherwise known as Giants Stadium :sad1:
But they are building a new stadium in N.Y. N.Y. for the JETS!
Now we just need to stop sucking :cry1:
As for New England, I'm of the opinion that they are the only team named for a region, instead of a state or city, & therefore belong to the entire populous encompassing that region, & not just Mass.
Superbowl pic? My money would be on The Pats, & The Pack, but it's a kinda iffy bet. The Cowboys & the Colts are not to be underestimated
I'd like to claim that N.E. will lose a game somewhere, but where? Their last 5 games are against The Ravens, The Steelers, The Jets, The Dolphins, & The Giants. The only one with a snowball's chance in hell, is Pittsburg, & they dropped a game to the Jets
I just don't see anybody else taking them down, in the regular season. Though it would be nice to have one of the N.Y. teams do it

Hey Mojo!
Did you know that Trekwolf from here is working on that new Stadium?
He told me about it this summer.
The Unforgettable - November 30, 2007 05:40 AM (GMT)
Depending on how long they can keep their basic strengths the same and keep guys like Brady and Moss together the Patriots are going to be a dominant force in the NFL for quite a while. However, what I would love to see is a total upset in a few key games and see the Bengals go to the Super Bowl...that would be AMAZING!
And can you imagine the embarassment for the Pats if they did lose one game and it was to the Dolphins and the Dolphins got their only win of the season by beating the Pats?
This season has some amazingly funny theoretical possibilities....not very likely ones...but possible.

I'd love for the Dolphins to beat them.
But I wouldn't mind seeing the Pats' only loss coming in the AFC Championship Game.

I want the Pats or the Bengals in the Superbowl. And I want one of those to win it. I couldnt care less which one specifically...but I want one of them to be there and win.
And Corwin if the Dolphins do that...then you have to eat a live puppy on TV

Wow! Very cool
I guess they're currently building a stadium for the Yankees, The Mets, & the Jets. That's some big money being thrown around
The Jets will have to become a big market player after that. No more of this back seat crap
We need players! :frust:
