ouch.... i would have thought, with the success of the cheaper streamline box sets, they they would have learnt how much better and more successful the cheaper dvd's are.

I read someplace that Season 2 of the Remastered TOS has been postponed.
Supposedly it had something to do with the Blu-Ray/HD DVD Wars.

Which is a good thing because my Plasma is hooked up to my PS3, which plays the BluRay DVD's.

Speaking of remastered episodes....
My favorite one will be airing soon.
"The Enterprise Incident" where Kirk and Spock try to steal a Cloaking Device from a Romulan Ship will be aired in April.
I'm looking forward to see it after the SFX Wizards get done working their magic.

I pre-ordered mt copy of Star Trek TOS season 2 re-mastered on amazon.com for 63.99. They are not HD or blu ray but my player plays at near HD. That is good enough for me. The estimated shipping date is August 5.
