My Grandma Gummy was a huge Giants Fan. She loved Frank Gifford.

Kickoff was enjoyable. Most teams played as predicted with the exception of the Saints. They should have done much better.
Tight End from the Bills just had major spinal surgery because of a tackle he made yesterday. He's still sedated so we won't know if the guy can even walk until he wakes up. His football career is probably over, but hopefully he'll be able to lead a normal life without any serious complications from the injury.

When I saw the final score of the game, I nearly jumped out of my skin. :D It's good to know that Philadelphia can still beat Dallas. :woohoo:

A lady friend of mine who lives in San Diego has a cousin that played on the 1969 Super Bowl Champion Jets Team. She told me about when she was little, she got to ride of Joe Namath's shoulders. I just can't remember her cousin's name. :ummm:
