I just finished watching my first episode in HD. It was awesome!
I know that many of you hate this series. I understand your reason(s).
But to watch anything Trek in HD is an incredible experience.

well, i guess it was the best series for graphics, so i would like to see how it plays out in HD. and i didnt ever mind it, series one and two and 4 i loved, but the Zindi plot line was stupid.

I have to agree with you there. I hated the Xindi Plot. It was a huge waste of time and made the 3rd season the worst of the bunch. :thumbs1:

I dig where you're coming from.
I love all Trek Series and Movies.
It's just that damn Xindi Storyline that I didn't care for.

See, I like the story line. I thought some of the eps were 'meh' but overall I thought it was good. *shrugs*

i didnt say i didnt like enterprise, or season 3, i just thought that it basically killed off the show, and nearly the franchise. i still loved the idea of enterprise, and the first season was amazing!

As was its final season. Sadly, the writers chose to make the series finale more about Riker and Troi rather than the ENT Crew. :angry3:

Which I view as a great injustice to the cast to ENT.
They deserved better. :angry3:

i gues it was an attempt to make it link more to the future treks, i did thing it was good as an episode but it shouldn't have been used as the last episode, your right, the actual ENT crew should have had their bit.

actually... there is a history of this kind of thing
DS9 is having ratings trouble, so Berman pulls in Worf as a main character
Voyager has rating issues still even after Seven and the Borg were supposed to be the fixes, so he pulls in Troi and Barclay (I think that's the right spelling), (Riker too) and even Geordi came in there in that Ep where Harry screws up and gets everyone but him and Chakotay killed
basically the way Berman does stuff is if the show's in trouble he throws in some TNG, I Guess hoping the rating ploy will get some non regulars to watch, and also make a nice crossover for TNG fans *shrug*

At the risk of sounding corny, your explanation is logical. When your spin-off is in trouble ratings-wise, you always bring in a star from the original series (in this case, TNG) to try to attract new viewers to the fold. It's not the first time it's been done, and it probably won't be the last. :pinch:
I still don't like it. It shows that the show's writers/producers are suffering from Brain Farts when they can't come up with something new and exciting on their own. :sarcastic:

I was so bitter about TNG ending, I wasn't going to watch anything else Trek related. If it wasn't for Worf and O'Brian, I wouldn't have given DS9 the shot I did. One of the best Trek decisions I ever made.

I always thought that DS9 was geared towards the more intelligent Trek Fans. The storylines were for a more mature audience. That's what got me hooked. My youngest (now 15) has really gotten into it. He can't get enough of it.

they even started putting Troi into Voyager, and ricker in one episode too. i guess cus TNG was so successful, its nice to have cameo's or crossing characters in each other series.

And I will never forgive Berman for that. :thumbs1:

Getting back on topic....
ENT in HD has been really awesome. I am looking forward to the remastered TOS Episodes coming out on HD-DVD. I heard that they're going to be rather pricey.
To the tune of $218 per season. :wtf:
