Title: The Menagerie
Description: Would we be better off without it?

It just occurred to me that without "The Menagerie" we might have a very different view of "The Cage". Is there anyone who thinks that maybe it wouldn't even be canon if we hadn't seen "The Menagerie" (two hours I could have put to better use)?

:pinch: I'm crappy with titles. I'll look it up and get back to you

It's the two parter TOS episodes where Spock kidnaps Capt Pike to take him back to Talos IV to restore him to his regular body after he was badly injured in a Shuttle Accident.

I don't see why there'd be any difference...
We basically see the whole episode of "The Cage" during the course of the two parts, the only change is a very minor one at the end...
"The Cage" is an important part of Trek history.

I think it was a great way to use the footage from the cage...
I got the chance to see the Menagerie on the big screen.. and it was great!
Im glad they made the episode.
I dont think trek history would be any different with out it... but I think it makes it better to have it!
