the streamline versions of the DS9 box sets, like they did with the TNG ones, are about to hit the stores, and they;re going to be about £25 each... which is awesome! properly, and reasonably priced box ses seem to finally be hitting the star trek franchise.
i will probably buy them.

It's a shame i already have them in the older style :sad2:
I really like the look of the new 'slim line' cases and they fit in with the rest of my DVD collection better .
Not only that but they're cheaper as well .
I've seen the TNG seasons for as little as $38 AU and DS9 for as little as $54 AU .
Not much more than $30 and $50 US respectively .
That's awesome pricing , just a shame it took so long that it now reeks of desperation , trying to milk the last few cents out of each and every fan :sarcastic:

well, i think they are making back all they can incase the movie fails and they need to have money again in case they ever want to do any more star trek. which they will. i hope.
anyhow i dont have DS9 except on DVD so i am looking forward to the slim ones, which will look good in my collection over the bulky UK release previous ones.
