Title: Brand new trek!!

wissaboo - March 3, 2007 03:09 AM (GMT)
:p Well it is to me.

I've watched about um... 2 1/2 episodes of ds9; but the Space channel in canada is running it every weekday and I estimate it will start again at the begining in the next week or so. I've been convinced I should watch it even if they aren't "boldly going" anywhere. And I am really hurting for some new trek. :sad1:

Don't be fooled. They go plenty of places on DS9. It's the best Trek series of them all, imo .......... next to TNG that is.

DS9 is the best of all the Treks... TNG is nothing compared to DS9.

Yes the Bajorans good, Cardassians bad, episodes of the first two seasons sucked.

I have to concur that DS9 was the best of all the series. TNG was good, but it lacked the continuity that DS9 had.

I think that we're all hurting for new Trek. I think that the studio realizes this and that's why they're putting out the remastered TOS episodes. Granted, I love the remastered stuff, but I would really love to see a new series. Maybe something will happen after XI is released?
We can only hope.....

i ALMOST got my hopes up there.... thanks :p

I haven't watched DS9 in ages. I can't say I haven't watched Trek in ages since I've been watching Enterprise on SciFi every Monday.

GOD DAMN IT! Now I'm in the mood for watching DS9.

i think its likly that if the film is successfully "rebooted" another series, possably on a slightly diferent wavelength, by which i mean showing a new aspect of star trek, in the rebooted type of way that the film will be... would work well, and it would be nice to see a brand new series, a new ship and crew and if it is done slightly differently i think that could be interesting too.
