Description: Big Screen

Cannot imagine what all the negativity surrounding Enterprise was.But I loved that show, and wished it carried on for the traditional seven series run,and cannot wait for the flick.

Now does any user have ENt series 4 available in on-line format that they are willing to trade? :o

fleshandblood - December 1, 2006 09:20 AM (GMT)
not that im endorsing downloading, but trw Mininova.org

anyhow, as for an ENT movie, it just wouldnt work there are not enough fans and there wouldnt even be point in making it as it would bomb... its a shame, but its true.

Thanks for the tip.(not that you endorse that sort of thing)

TOS was also cancelled....but eventually found a movie audience. It could happen.

I almost typed that with a straight face.

Who knows, maybe. That was posted with a straight face!

it would never happened. majority of people at least liked TOS loved it in fact

I would think that DS9 would be brought to the big screen before ENT. While is didn't have the big numbers that TNG had, it still has an amazing cult following. I liked it for the simple fact that the episodes were well written as well as well acted.
But that's just my opinion....

fleshandblood - July 24, 2007 10:54 AM (GMT)
i don't think ds9 would work big screen, the acting was never great, and they kinda finished it off in a way that should be left like it was, cus it was nice. I wouldn't want to see it blown up in a cinema. Enterprise could be bought to the big screen, but i doubt very much that it will be.. voyager could work big screen, there are some books that have come out which would be awesome on there. even if they were just a stand alone story, so that fans didn't get annoyed with continuetey errors. Another TNG would work, but i think they're all getting too old for the roles.

i am getting more eager to see what they do with ST 11 before i decide if it should have been something else or not.

Enterprise was the most hated Star Trek series. It isn't coming back. The 'TOS came back!' is a lame excuse for the following reasons:

Man landed on the moon.

And Star Wars came out, making Paramount say 'hey, we have this thing called Star TREK...'

Enterprise is six feet under. Pushing up the dasies. Dead, kaput, nada, no more.

And never coming back.

That's not true... It got cancelled twice... Most people did not watch it. And back then there were only 3 channels to watch.

I disagree... I think Voyager was the most hated... But I get your point...

I think to say most people would be an understatement, otherwise there wouldn't have been a large enough turn out to the letter writing campaign to have it brought back for the third season

Most people were not into it... But as always there were very loyal fans who loved the show. There is comparison now to the number of Trek fans now to those in 1969.

Letters are considered worth thousands of watchers. Imagine at that time getting one letter. They had no idea anyone watched the show.

I'm afraid that you will be waiting for a very, VERY long time for the ENT movie to come out.

ENT movie is a no no

THe show was poorly rated and not wildly known outside the trek community either

Ask the average joe about trek and he's likely to say either spock or kirk or scotty or all three in the same breath

Say that Archer was the first captain of the enterprise and you'll probably get one of these :wtf: looks

Although, I wouldn't mind seeing a made-for-tv movie.
But I'm not sure if the actors would be willing to reprise their roles.
