Watched the remastered version of "Catspaw" last night. They did some interesting things, they did a better Mat painting of the castle and cooler shots of the Enterprise in orbit.

And then they didn't correct the episodes most glaring flaw, the worst single special effect in the history of Trek. Yes, I refer to the Korba and Sylvia puppets at the end of the episode, which were totally cheap looking and had strings attached to them. (I think they pixelated out the strings, but they still looked faker than anything.)

Kind of a tradition, they did air it close to Halloween, just like the original 40 years ago.

I swear, they must've made these things at a Sushi restaurant.

haha wow.... its seems silly to update and not update possably the worst animations in the TOS series.... its quite poor.

still, those probably look more scarey than the actual re-aminated ones would lol.
