I never liked the opening credits theme music. It always reminded me of "Little House on the Prairie."

i thought the initial note was always great. i could hear it from another room and know DS9 was on. i loved that. but the rest of it was a little too opra house music, lots of loud instraments and not much else.

i cant say i didnt like it though, i thought they were all good.

I thought it was good . although I liked it better after the third season when they added a little to it.

With the visual's I love the DS9 theme, but riding in the car I would hit one of the presets.

I have never seen a single episode of Little House on the Prarie.

Probably my favorite ST TV theme

TNG theme was distintive as a TV theeme , but i remember TMP every time i hear it .

Of course I loved it! Majestic, moving, and is a great musical piece instead of just a theme.

Of course, the Season Seven theme was garbage. But pre-S7, it was excellent.

There's a different theme for season 7. wait, what. How could I have possibly missed this. :confused: :confused: :confused:

Somebody suggested to me that it sounded like the theme song to "Falcon's Crest," a Dallas-like show from the 80's. I'll try and find a sample.

They upped the tempo to make it reflect the show - more 'actiony.' The actual song didn't change.

I liked it.
